Road Clean up scheduled for Sept. 21st, 9-11am. Rain date is Sept. 28th. Meet at Ward’s Corner…all supplies furnished. Wear boots and bring bug spray. Come help clean up our County!
Our Committee showed up yesterday, Wednesday, June 12th, 2024 from 8-10am and attacked the weeds at Thomas Hunter Middle School! We Won!

about 17 folk addressed, stamped, stuffed and sealed envelopes, Sunday afternoon, Oct. 29, 2023… about 1,600 of them… all done by 3:30, including clean up and trash hauled away…a big shout out to Conrad for getting all this stuffing stuff together and coordinating… and thank you all you stuffers..(I think there is a merit badge for that!!!) – and thank you HYCO house for use of building, tables, chairs, etc…a great setting and central location…

Could you please forward to committee… I cannot tell everyone how incredibly grateful Hands Across Mathews was with all the non perishables we delivered to them. I was personally asked who it came from and when I told them, I got a high five. Richard and I did label all the items. I got there early and the line for people needing food was out to the road. It was quite telling. Please contribute if you can… anything… anything… at our next meeting. I love our Committee.

(posted 9/25/23) Bob Herget spoke at our Mid Pen Breakfast Club a few weeks ago….CA & I have reached out to him to join his efforts. You might want to be involved too. If you email him, he will contact you answering any questions…we plan on taking some of their training, maybe starting a Mathews County Group with them…we will see…definitely time to work together. If enough people email him & seem interested he will come to Mathews and speak to our Group.
I have attached a pic of his card and below is his explanation of what his group is doing:
The objective of the Community Missions is to have residents of each locality stand up their local group to serve within their own communities and be able to communicate with surrounding communities.
Myself with a few other citizens formed a development team to get things moving here in York County and Poquoson.
I am more than happy to come up and see you and give you a full briefing on where we are at to help you get started.
Should you have a few other citizens that would like to hear about it would help you all out. Appreciate you.

Members of America’s First District Republican Committee:
The State Fair of Virginia is now underway! As you may know, the Republican Party of Virginia has a booth at the Fair every year. This year, they need the help of our volunteers:
As you can see from the picture below, the request for lawn signs from our nominees was successful. But now that the decor is right, they need good Republicans to staff the booth.
The link to sign-up to volunteer is here. Unit Chairmen are strongly encouraged to share the sign-up link with their members. While there are a few free tickets available, supplies are limited and volunteers should expect to purchase their own ticket, which they can do here.

Americans will unify in prayer across the nation and around the federal courthouse, in which every January 6 political prisoner is tried, on August 30. as US District Federal Judge Timothy J. Kelly sentences the Proud Boys who were wrongfully found guilty of seditious conspiracy by Antifa-supporting jurors.
US. District federal Judge Timothy Kelly will sentence political prisoners Enrique Tarrio and Ethan Nordean, Black Lives Matter leader Mark Fisher, renowned Canadian activist Chris “Sky” Saccocia, and former Black Lives Matter activist and rapper Ron J. Spike will be among patriots leading the national prayer outside the E. Barret Prettyman courthouse on Aug. 30.
Prior to sentencing, Judge Kelly will review victim impact statements from cops who claimed they were victimized on January 6 on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
Political prisoners Joseph Biggs and Zachary Rehl will be sentenced on Thursday, Aug. 31. Dominic Pezzola, the only defendant in the Proud Boys case who was found not guilty of seditious conspiracy, will be sentenced on Friday, Sept. 1.
