First Topic: QR Codes…here is a video about QR Codes.

When QR Codes first came out, you needed an App to access them, but now most phones have the QR reader built into the Camera. Turn you Camera on, point it at the QR code (no need to take a picture of it) just point, it will take you to the Site or Info quickly. You might need to enlarge the image with your Camera but it should work. If have an older phone, you will need an App….most have Ads on them, so avoid clicking on the Ads, just click on the link.

Remember in the Web World: If something is FREE, then YOU are usually the Product, If there is a Fee, then there is a product besides your information.

Safe way to donate or buy from an unknown source: have a debit or credit card with a low limit, like $500, to use for this purpose. Very easy to monitor and see theft.

Keep a list of everything you subscribe to: it is confusing when you get notifications in your email and phone and by mail that you need to renew. I have ran into a lot of fraud out there….keep a list of subscriptions with renewal dates, don’t be fooled into paying for nothing! Know your stuff!
